Description

According to Robert Parker, the 2011 Brunello di Montalcino does a good job of presenting the natural characteristics of Sangiovese. You get tastes of wild berry, cola, pressed violets and balsam herb. The bouquet is balanced, simple and clean. Donna Olga presents a textbook example of what Sangiovese tastes like in a warm vintage such as 2011. Similarly, the mouthfeel reveals softness, plushness and is layered with bright fruit flavors.
