Description

According to Antonio Galloni, 2011 Barolo Monvigliero have sweet red cherries, plums, menthol, smoke, tobacco, mint and licorice tastes meld together. Sensual, layered and creamy on the palate, the 2011 speaks to balance above all else. Ripe, silky tannins add to an overall impression of finesse. It's hard to say much else, except that the 2011 hits all the right notes. What a gorgeous wine this is.
